Mosquito Midnight Mischief: A Balcony Encounter
It was around midnight, and I couldn’t sleep.The city was quiet only a few sounds humming in the distance and the breeze through the windows felt too good to ignore. without giving second thought, I stepped out to the balcony, hoping the silent night, air, and sky full of stars would calm my restless mind. I sat down, took a breath, looked up at the stars, and thought, "Maybe this will help." And for a moment, it did. Then sting. A tiny prick on my arm. Then another. And then one more. I paused. Looked around. And yep, of course. I wasn’t alone. My “friends” had found me. And by friends, I mean mosquitoes. Tiny, relentless, buzzing invaders with no concept of personal space. I tried to ignore them at first. Swatted the air. Shifted in my seat. Tried to focus on the stars again. But no luck. They were determined.
